Don't compromise

The recent leftist talking point is the republicans are unreasonable for not compromising. I take it only the republicans are supposed to compromise because when questioned about the spending after 2008, President obama said “we won the election” meaning there was no need to compromise. In fact he told republicans to get to the back of the bus- an unfortunate racist reference.

In fact a probation of movement without compromise will prevent movement. The players will just adjust their demands assuming outrageous demands will aid in the presumed negotiation. Nor should their be compromise in the joint committees to resolve issues between house and senate versions of bills. Let them report the differences back and resolve them there. If it takes a long time, so be it.

Instead it should be “My way or the highway” since the highway is the defunding of the federal government. Merely fund those parts that have a benefit and should be at the federal. Balance the budget now.
